Embed Flash Video into a WordPress blog
There are several reasons why people want to add Flash video to your WordPress blog sites. Maybe they want enter your website and products to your visitors use it as a training aid, show a seminar or simply show the new baby's relatives at a distance. Videos What is right, the website is used more and more each day.
If you have an estate agency which could be better than a walk through Tour of property, a walk through of a yacht, if you are a yacht broker or visits to sports clubs, hotels, shops or whatever product to potential customers to see.
You can hardly visit YouTube or Google Video to find a video to your hotel or club, you have to create your own video or have done for you. But no no hotels and clubs, let's talk about you and the ebook or software you want to promote what is the reason many of us have.
For Flash video and performance we need to upload files and prepare our site. So lets start now.
First step: preparation of place.
There are several plugins available for integration of Flash video on your website, some are better than others and some are easier to use. WP-FLV is one wordTube FLV Embed is another and we are going to use here. Visit the website, read about the plugin and download it. Unzip the zip file and upload the folder of WordPress plugins. Note: Do not rename registers. You also need the free for personal use Flash Media Player from Jeroen Wijering. Download the player on the site, unzip and load only the file in the folder wordTube mediaplayer.swf. Activate the plugin.
Go to your admin area, then Options, Manage, wordTube develop options. You can use the default download folder or switch to another, as wp-content/videos. You can transfer your files via Manage Media Center. Note to video streaming of Flash Player will not show a preview, therefore you must also download a picture (thumbnail) files. After climbing the video, you can insert the tag (MEDIA = ID) at the entrance where you want the built-in Flash video to be displayed. ID is the number of video in the Media Center. Be sure to use capital letters will not work otherwise not.
